The biggest challenge when drawing a tiger clipart is to create the perfect posture and draw all features from this great animal precisely and accurately. It can be a difficult task if you are a beginner or not familiar with the anatomy of this cartoon animal. If you prefer to draw something simpler, then this tutorial is definitely for you. Made from basic elements and filled with plain colors, this character also offers a front view, which is definitely easier to achieved.
Tigers are dangerous animals in the wild. Even in captivity, this strong animal can cause serious injuries to people who are taking care of this beast. Let's draw a cute version of this animal using all four steps displayed below. Ready? Let's proceed with the first step.
Start by drawing the body of the character by sketching a large rectangle made with a thick outline. On top of this shape, draw two small circular shapes to form the ears. Continue by adding the eyes and the pupils using large circles. The nose can be illustrated with a large oval shape and the mouth is created with curved lines.
For this second step, create a large tail using curved lines. The arms are done with small straight lines as shown in the illustration below. Finally, complete this step by adding the feet using small curved lines.
It's now time to add more details inside the animal so that this one doesn't look like another feline. Draw small patches inside the ears, around the mouth and on the tail. Three small lines can also be added on top of the head. That's it for the drawing aspect of this tutorial.
Colors can be added inside the character to bring this one to life. A bright orange color is used to filled the body and the tail. The nose and the pupils can be black. Patches around the mouth, the ears and on the stomach are colored in white. The feet can also be white.
Great! This tiger clipart looks amazing. You can also try more tigers if you want to create more versions of this adorable animal. First, this tiger made from squares is perfect to continue working with a simple character. This other one made from oval shapes is slightly more challenging, but still quite accessible. This third one is quite basic too while the last one is featuring an illustration made from complex digital shapes and effects. Enjoy these lessons and have fun! :)
