Creating a mouse clipart can be a fun experience if you can have access to a simple template. This is exactly what I am offering here! This cartoon mouse is simple to draw and duplicate using mostly shapes like rectangles, lines and circles.
Mice are fun animal to illustrate. However, these little rodents are not always fun to deal with in real life! Although some species are often sold as pets, others can be annoying or damaging in houses or in agriculture. They can also transmit diseases and parasites to humans.
The reproduction cycle of mice is also quite short, making this animal even more complicated to deal with. Fortunately, the version found here is docile and very friendly. Let's start this lesson on how to draw a cartoon mouse now! :)
First, you can draw a large rectangle to form the body of this character. Then, you can draw large circular shapes on top of the head to represent the ears of the animal. Inside the ears, smaller circles are also added to create patches. You can use a thick outline on all shapes created here and in future steps.
Next, draw the eyes using large circles. Pupils are made from smaller circles located in the middle of both eyes. The nose is made from a small oval shape while whiskers are created from long pointed lines. A small curved line is used to illustrate the mouth of the mouse clipart.
Nice work! We are almost done for the drawing aspect of this drawing tutorial. On the right of the cartoon animal, draw a long tail using a thick line with a pointed end. Hands are made from broken lines while the feet are done from small oval shapes. Great! Let's add some colors now! :)
The character is mostly filled with a dark grey color. Patches inside the ears are pink, just like the nose of the cartoon mouse. The tail and the feet are colored with a darker version of the grey color used to fill in the body. Finally, the eyes are white and the pupils are blue.
These are all four steps required to illustrate this cartoon character properly. You can find several other tutorials featuring mice on this site. Another easy tutorial that you could try is this simple mouse made from circles. Have fun and enjoy working with these great animals! :)
