There are several reasons to draw a monster clipart ... the best one being the fact that you can create virtually anything you want! Indeed, monsters are fun to illustrate because you can get creative and there are practically no boundaries. Whatever you can think of can be a good idea!
To create a nice creature, you just need to add features like horns, wings, teeth, tails, pointed ears, large bodies or anything else that can make the beast more frightening. This cute cartoon monster is just a simple example of what can be done. Ready? Let's draw this character now!
You can start by sketching a large rectangle that will be used to represent the head and the body of this creature. On top of this shape, draw two large circles to form the eyes. This monster doesn't have pupils, so no need to add them within the illustration.
Next, you can draw the arms and hands using rectangles with round corners. The feet are made from a long curved line on top and a straight one on the bottom. Good job! Let's proceed to the second step. :)
In this second step, you can begin by adding two horns on top of the head. Still near the top of the head, but on both sides, you can draw ears using curved lines. The mouth is made from a long curved line and two small teeth created from tiny triangles are added below this one.
One last step before adding colors! On both sides of the body, draw some wings made from curved lines and triangles. These wings are located just above the shoulders of the cartoon monster. On the stomach of the cartoon creature, draw a large patch made from an oval shape.
Cool! It's time to add colors! Of course, monster are often depicted in green, but in this case, the monster is filled with a bright blue color. The horns and the patch on the stomach are yellow. Don't hesitate to use various colors! It's all up to you! :)
Good job! These are all steps needed to draw this monster accurately. It's now time to sketch your own creature! Like I said earlier, there are no boundaries. You are in charge. Draw, experiment and have fun creating cartoon characters that are original, visually beautiful and special. You'll see, it's a fun process to go through.
