Step 1

Let's begin with the creation of the head using a large square. Once this one is created, you can add the body using a thin rectangle as shown in the illustration below. Then, another rectangle (also thinner) is added below the body to form the legs. You can also draw the arms and hands using small rectangles and circles. Complete this first step by drawing the feet using curved lines.

Step 2

It's time to work on the head of this cartoon Indian! You can start by sketching the eyes and the pupils using large circular shapes. Next, the mouth is done using a single curved line. The ears are made from small circles and hair is created from large curved lines. Don't forget to add feathers on top of the head of the cartoon character.

Step 3

In this step, you can draw more hair below the ears using small circles and rectangles. Two large rectangles are added on the shirt and a belt is also drawn using a large and thin rectangle. Nice work! It's now time to add colors to make this character visually more interesting.

To create a realistic Indian character, it's important to use a bunch of colors associated with earth. In this case, a few variations of brown, red, black and yellow are used to fill in this illustration. The skin can also be slightly darker. That's it! This great cartoon image is now finished!
