No need to hurry ... one day everyone will have the abilities to draw a snail using this adorable drawing tutorial! Simply follow all the steps below and enjoy a fun cartoon animal made in just a few minutes. Even if you don't have much drawing experience, this tutorial is perfect for kids and beginners.
The final result can be seen below. As you can see, only basic shapes are used to illustrate the snail's body and head. All shapes are made from circles except for the mouth, the antennas and the pattern on the shell.
Great! Let's start with the addition of the head using a circular shape. Creating the head first is a good technique to help you locate and draw the rest of the body. Starting with the body or another part of the character can be more problematic.
Next, draw the shell behind the head of the cartoon snail. Make sure that the shell is at least twice the size of the head. Add another long line below the shell to illustrate the tail and neck.
Once you are finished, you can add antennas using a long curved line and a small circle. Eyes are also made from circles, but they must be large and close to each other.
Pupils can also be drawn using large circular shapes. On the shell, you can draw a large circular line. Make sure that the end of the line (in the middle of the shell) is narrower and pointed.
Finally, to give more life to this fun cartoon snail you can add a line to form the mouth and draw oval shapes on the pupils.
Nice work! Drawing this snail was easy and the result is simple and adorable. If you need more assistance to create this drawing, why not look at the illustration below with all six steps displayed together.
