Yes! Unlike this cartoon character, you have the freedom to learn how to draw a prisoner using this simple step-by-step drawing lesson! Being able to do what we want, where we want and when we want it is a great feeling. Unfortunately, some people don't have access to this privilege. Some are in prisons while others are simply living in a country that doesn't allow that kind of liberty. Let's draw a cartoon prisoner and celebrate the fact that we are free (and I sincerely hope you are).
Let's begin with the head and the body of this cartoon prisoner. Of course, the head is made from a large oval shape. The shirt and the pants are done using triangle as shown in the image below.
Then, you can sketch the arms using small rectangles. The hands are made from circles since the fingers are not visible. The shoes are done with the top part of circular shapes.
Great! You can now draw the eyes using large circles inside the head of the prisoner. The hat is made from a wide rectangle and the ears are illustrated with circles.
Inside the eyes, draw large pupils using circles. Inside the pupils, create reflection using small oval shapes. The mouth is done with a line and surrounded by a thin beard. The nose is also drawn using a small curved line.
This last and final step consists in adding stripes on the hat and the suit of the cartoon prisoner.
Nice work! I hope you had fun learning how to draw a prisoner made from simple elements like the one shown on the bottom. Don't forget to add colors to create something more interesting!
You can see all steps needed above to create this character. Have fun with this lesson and don't hesitate to draw more versions using your own style. :)
