Only a few simple steps are needed to learn how to draw a girl made from a cute design and basic shapes! That's right! Let me show you how you could illustrate a fun cartoon girl using only circles + rectangles and still end up with a perfect character. You will see that you don't need to draw long, complicated curves to represent the perfect woman! :)
Let's begin with the creation of the head and the body of our cartoon girl. The head must be drawn using a large oval shape. The body consists of a small square while the dress must be made from a small rectangle that should be narrower on top.
Next, you can draw both arms using long and thin rectangles. Hands are made from circular shapes. No need to draw fingers since the result must be simple and adorable. :)
Cool! You can now sketch the eyes using large circles. The hair is made from several curved lines like shown on the illustration below.
Continue working on this cute cartoon character by sketching large circles to illustrate the pupils. You can also add a bow on top of the head using a circle and two small triangles.
Complete this drawing lesson by drawing the nose and the mouth using long curved lines. Nice work! This character is now finished! :)
This is the final drawing featuring this cute cartoon girl. Below is a black and white version of the girl. Of course, you can also add colors if you want to.
In the illustration below, you can see all six steps required to create this girl. It's now time to draw another version (this time using your own style) and create another lovely character that is adorable and fun to look at. Enjoy! :)
