Build a nice cartoon character using this lesson on how to draw a construction worker! I will show you how to use the right tools to create the perfect illustration at no extra cost ... Ok, enough with these jokes on construction! Let's draw a fun illustration now using only simple shapes and a fun design. :)
Let's start building this character by creating the head using a large oval shape. Next, draw a small rectangle to form the body of the cartoon character. Draw another small rectangle to illustrate the pants.
Great! Let's move on with the second step. Add two rectangles to form the arms. The hands are made from small oval shapes. Finally, you can work on the feet using straight and curved lines.
Good! The helmet is done using a long curved line and a small rectangle. The eyes are made from large circular shapes. The ears are made from smaller circles. Don't forget to draw a hammer inside the right hand of the construction worker.
On top of the helmet, draw a long vertical stripe. Add the pupils using circles. A long beard made from a thin line can also be drawn on the face of the character. Sketch some hair on both sides of the head.
On top of the helmet, draw two more stripes like shown below. The pupils must be filled with small oval shapes. Finally, complete this lesson by adding a nose and a mouth using curved lines.
Nice work! This is the final character in black and white. It's up to you to add colors or not. Remember that practicing is the key so don't hesitate to try this character as often as needed! :)
These are all six step needed to create this character. Enjoy! :)
