Time to learn how to draw a camel using a front view. This cartoon animal is mostly made from lines and shapes. Whether you are a professional artist or someone who likes to draw as a hobby, this cartoon camel is easy to draw.
Steps are simple to understand and red lines are visible to help you figure out what you need to do in each step. Below is the final illustration filled with colors. Are you ready to draw? Let's proceed with the first step.
Cool! You might want to draw the head first. Use a large circular shape to form the head. Don't forget to add a small circle on the bottom to illustrate the jaw of the animal. Both eyes are made from large circles.
The body is also made from a circle, but this one must be smaller than the one used to create the head. As you can see below, both front legs are attached to the body. The back legs are partially hidden and slightly higher to increase perspective.
Nice! Both ears are made of large triangles. The hump is sketched from a flat circular shape and you can add some hair using irregular lines. Let's proceed to step number four!
Next, you can add the pupils using smaller circles. The nose is represented by two oval shapes located on the bottom of the eyes. Finally, you can complete this step with the addition of the tail made from two curved lines.
It's time to add small details to make this drawing visually more interesting. You can draw oval shapes inside the pupils. Also, you can draw another thin triangle inside each ear. Finally, sketch the mouth using a line.
Nice job! This is the final illustration in black and white without any red lines. If you prefer to draw a side view, you can try my other tutorial on how to draw a camel.
Below is a quick overview of all six steps that you must complete to create this animal. Have fun! :)
