Use this fun bulldog clipart to learn how to create a cute version of this cartoon animal. It's true, this character doesn't seem very happy and fun to work with, but don't worry! There are no danger learning how to duplicate this bulldog using this simple drawing lesson! ;)
Below you can see the final result once all shapes are added and plain colors are applied. Beginners should not have any trouble adding basic shapes, lines and colors to come up with something similar. Only four easy steps are needed to come up with this character! Ready? Let's sketch this bulldog now!
First, create a large rectangle made from a thick outline to illustrate the body and the head of the bulldog. Make sure this new shape is not too large and not too long either. On the bottom of the rectangle, draw two small curved lines to form the front legs. The back legs are hidden behind the body, so we don't have to draw these elements.
Next, it's time to work on the facial features of the character. First, draw the eyes using large circles. Then, draw smaller circular shapes inside the eyes. On top of the eyes, add two lines to create the eyebrows. The nose can be done from an oval shape made from irregular lines. The mouth is done using a long curved line and the teeth are made from small pointed triangles.
Next, draw two small ears using additional curved lines. The collar can be made from a long rectangle. This one must be large, but also very narrow. You can place it below the mouth and above the front feet. On the collar, you can add spikes using triangles and circles. That's it! The drawing part is now over. It's now time to add plain colors and create something even more powerful!
Most of the cartoon character is filled with a dark grey color. The eyes and the pupils are white. The eyes are colored in black, but the outlines around these pupils are colored in blue. The nose is filled with a darker grey color just like collar and the front feet.
These are all four steps needed to illustrate this fun cartoon character. Don't hesitate to work on more cartoon characters and animals from the same series. You can also use this tutorial and try to draw your own version of a bulldog clipart. Enjoy! :)
