Learn how to draw a cute waiter cartoon in this fun drawing lesson! I love eating at a restaurant. There is nothing more enjoyable than eating a nice meal made with fresh ingredients. Of course, this experience is even more enjoyable if you are surrounded by good waiters.
A job that involves interaction with customers is not an easy job. You need to be polite and do your best to make sure that everyone is happy. Even when customers are not happy!
Important note: For each step available below, the first image represents the operation you must perform for this particular step. All changes are surrounded by a red outline.
On the second image, you will have the opportunity to see the result of this particular step.
Let's start working on our cartoon character by sketching the outlines using basic shapes. If you feel comfortable with your vector application, you can create shape with plain colors right away. Otherwise, just proceed in two steps to add color to each element of the illustration.
Select the gradient tool and add a second color to each shape of the character. For the black areas, you can either skip this step or add a darker tone of grey to create a small reflection.
Create two white circles to illustrate reflection on the eyes. Draw two additional circles to form reflection on the pupils and finally, add two more circles behind the eyes to make these elements easier to read. You can use transparency to hide the top part of the shapes.
Complete your character by adding large shadows on the head, the feet and the chicken. These new shadows must be created from new shapes. Once again, feel free to hide the top part using the transparency tool. Good job! I think your waiter is ready to take orders!
