Creating a seamless texture (or any other kind)
Adding a seamless texture to your work can give interesting results. Textures are different from shadows.
A shadow will give depth to your drawings while textures give them a sense of roughness, of realism.
Textures can be created by sketching a couple of lines or by adding a picture of a close-up of an object. It depends on the level of realism that you want to add to your work.
