This is a cool example of what you can achieve by mixing various techniques to create your drawings.

Here, Scott did draw with a pencil and then he added gray tones in Illustrator. But if you wish, you can go one step further and mix any of the following together:

-Hand drawing
-Vector drawing
-Drawing with a graphic tablet
-Adding a photography
-Collage
-Painting...
