How I end up giving
drawing lessons

Why did I created a website about drawing lessons? Just read below to find out!

Hi! My name is Martin. I have been drawing since I was seven.

My first comic strip!
I remember the first comic strip that I made. It was a 3 panel story of an airplane that could not fly. One thing was missing: fuel.

This comic strip was published in the local newspaper. Can you imagine how a seven year old felt to see his first cartoon available to the whole world (at least, for me it was the whole world!)?

It just felt Great! It's been almost three decade since I created this comic strip. And I still love drawing!

I have tried several other hobbies like making movies, creating video games or playing hockey. Yet, drawing is the only one that I stick with. That's why I decided to make this website.

Simply to share my passion with you by creating those drawing lessons!

My portrait
This is me. However, I do look funnier in real life!
I have studied to become a 3D artist but I finally end up doing 2D characters and animations. I love drawing cartoons because I feel that I am only limited by my imagination. Anything I can think of can become reality... if I wish!

I am now the father of three beautiful kids and I must admit that they are also a very good source of inspiration! Kids can be so funny! Just sit down and observe them for 30 minutes and you have enough material to write down a 52 pages comic book in no time!

Ok... Now back to my professional life!

Before I started building how-to-draw-funny-cartoons, I launch seven other websites. Two were about video games. One was a blog about actuality. I did not make any money out of them, but I sure had a lot of fun! I also learn several things.

I learn what to do to build a successful website... and how to fail! The failing part was difficult, but necessary! It's tough to put your heart and soul in a project and watch it collapse slowly... and slowly....

But now I'm back on my feet! I now realize that one thing was missing when I started building my seven other websites. BAM! This stand for Brain And Motivation! The brain is your car. The motivation is your fuel! And this fuel is not expensive!

I am now working part-time on this website and I really enjoy to see it become more mature, more popular! Having the opportunity to show your work to the world is very rewarding. Being able to give drawing lessons too can be very gratifying!

It can be quite fun to draw some nice cartoons and show them to your family. But it can be quite exhilarating to have the chance to be seen by hundreds of visitors each day!

Click here if you would like to see how I manage to achieve my goal and how you can do the same!

Thank you for visiting my website and happy drawing!
