It's not a fox. It's not a wolf. It's a lesson on how to draw a husky, a cool breed of dogs drawn from simple shapes. In this tutorial, I will show you how you can easily create your own illustration of this great animal using a simple template that is very easy to duplicate. Even young kids can try this fun drawing lesson!
As shown below, the final image is mostly filled with white and grey colors. The pupils are large to illustrate all the cuteness of this cartoon animal. Let's start this tutorial now! :)
First, draw a large oval shape to illustrate the head of the husky. Notice how the shape seems narrower on top. Next, draw a long rectangle to form the body. Don't use a large rectangle. We want to illustrate a healthy husky.
Cool. Proceed with the creation of the jaw using a small circular shape like shown below. The front legs and back legs are simple made of circles and curved lines.
Next, you can sketch the ears using long pointed triangles. The nose is made from a small oval shape. Finally, the tail is created with a very large triangle made from curved lines.
The mouth is represented by a small line with pointed ends. Another line is used to connect the mouth with the nose. Eyes and pupils are drawn from large circular shapes.
You can complete this lesson with the addition of smaller details like lines inside the ears, oval shapes inside the pupils and a long curved line on the stomach.
This is the final illustration without colors. This cute cartoon animal was mostly made of smooth and round elements. If you prefer to work with rough shapes like rectangles or triangles, you can try this other version of a cartoon husky.
Nice job! These are all six steps needed to draw this cute husky. I hope you had fun and don't hesitate to practice often! :)
