Create a visually interesting chief clipart using this simple lesson accessible to everyone! Chiefs are usually the most important figure in a village. These wise characters are often depicted with lots of feathers on the head and clothing that is usually more extravagant and visually more elaborated than other members from the same clan.
In this lesson, I will show you how to draw a simple version of a chief as depicted below. This simple character is mostly made from basic elements and only plain colors are added to the cartoon character. Are you ready to draw? Great! Let's start with the first step available below ... :)
You can start this lesson by adding a large rectangle to illustrate the head of the character. Next, you can draw some ears using basic circular shapes as shown below. The body and the legs are represented by thin rectangles. Arms are made from rectangles too while the hands are done from circles. The feet are also created using small circles.
Now that the structure of the character is completed, let's draw the eyes and the pupils using large circles. You can also sketch the mouth using a thin curved line with pointed ends. On top of the head, you can draw feathers using rectangles with round ends. When you are finished, you can proceed with the next step! :)
Inside the feathers, add a small line to separate the black part from the white one. On both sides of the head, draw a few patterns and some hair using once again basic shapes. On the stomach of the chief cartoon, sketch a large rectangles with small lines inside.
Nice work! We are now done with the drawing part. It's time to add colors inside our illustration. The skin of the cartoon character must be darker. The clothing is filled with a yellow color (and a brown one for the pants and the shoes). Feathers are black and white and the hair is filled with a dark brown color.
I hope you had fun working on this simple cartoon character made from basic elements. You can also work with another version of a cartoon chief made from basic circular shapes if you want to. Have fun with both characters and happy drawing! :)
