How to draw a cartoon troll

This lesson will give you tips on how to draw a cartoon troll! The origins of this mythical creature is still uncertain these days.
A troll might be describe as a giant creature (similar to an ogre, but smaller in size) that likes to live in underground places. Let's try to draw a mean and green troll in this new step-by-step tutorial!
The first part of the body you should work on is the head. Start by sketching a square to create the base of the skull. You must incline this shape a little. Under the skull, add a long rectangle to form the jaw of your character.
Then, just above this shape and on the left of the skull, draw a small circle to illustrate the nose. Over the nose, sketch a bigger circle to create the forehead. Finally, draw a small oval shape on the right of the skull to represent the ear.
Now the body! Draw a large rectangle and make sure the top is narrower. Then, sketch a circle on the right to illustrate the hand. Finally, add another long and thin rectangle below the body to form the stomach of your creature.
Under the hand, sketch a long rectangle to create the weapon of your troll. Draw the legs and the feet using thick rectangles.
Now it's time to refine the outline of our little mythical friend. Start by working on the head. The lower lip and the nose must be big and round. Make sure that the ear is smooth and pointed on top.
To make your creature more frightening, draw some large shoulders. The head must be leaning towards the ground. Also, remember to draw a big and firm hand to your troll.
Finally, adjust and refine the outline of the legs and the feet. Don't make the feet too small. Our creature is tall and heavy. Therefore, you must draw big feet to make the whole character believable.
Add the last details like the tooth, the mouth, the pupils and some lines on the weapon and the ear.
Just color the skin of your troll in green and the clothing in brown and you are done! This menacing and intimidating creature is ready to run across the country to terrorize ordinary citizens!
