How to draw a cartoon sandwich

This tutorial will help you draw a simple cartoon sandwich filled with tomatoes, cheese and lettuce! There is no doubt that the sandwich is the most popular item found in a lunch box!
They are simple to do and can be carried easily! So let's see how we could draw a nice and delicious sandwich in this eight steps lesson!

First, draw two rectangles one over the other. Don't draw them too far apart from each other otherwise your bread will be very tick!

Next, join these two rectangles to form the slice of bread on the bottom of your sandwich. You don't need to make it perfect for now, we will work on the outline of this shape later on.

Add the lettuce and the cheese over your slice of bread. The lettuce is the irregular shape under the rectangle that is representing the cheese.

Then, draw a couple of slice of tomatoes. You don't need to fill the far side of your sandwich with tomatoes since the slice of bread that we will draw on top will hide them anyway.

Do just like you did for the first slice of bread. Only this time, it should be covering entirely your sandwich.

Work on the outline of both slice of bread. Notice how top part of the bread is slightly bumped. It should look like the letter "T" written in a bold font.

Since bread is usually filled with small holes, you can add a few circles to represent this particularity of your piece of bread.

Just add nice colors and you are done! You now have a tasteful and delicious sandwich ready to be eaten! Isn't it a great lunch or what?
