This tutorial will help you draw a simple cartoon pie loaded with apples and ink! In my humble opinion, there is nothing more satisfying than eating a nice apple pie after a good meal.

When this delicious dessert is hot and tasty, it makes you forget about all your troubles for a moment! And it's not so expensive to make! Let's see how we could draw this excellent treat easily!

Step 1

How to draw a cartoon pie

First, draw an oval shape to illustrate the plate that will hold our pie. Don't sketch the ends too narrow.

Step 2

Next, draw a similar shape over the first one. Like you can see on the image above, there is not much distance between both shapes.

Step 3

Then, draw a small curve under the top oval shape to form the depth of our plate. Notice that this line is starting from one end of the oval to join the other end of this same shape.

Step 4

Now refine the outline of your oval shape on top to form the crust of the pie. Like you can see on the image above, this crust is irregular and loaded with waves.

Step 5

To draw a pie accordingly to cartoon standards, you need to add some stripes on top of it.

Step 6

When you are done, do the same on the opposite direction.

Step 7

Since a pie is tasting better when it's warmer, draw a couple of lines to represent the heat coming out of our dessert.
