How to draw a cartoon man

In this tutorial, you will learn how to draw a nice cartoon man created with a vector software. For this drawing lesson, I will focus on the outline of your image. I will show you how to add colors to it and how to play with the brush stroke.
The result will be more interesting than a simple drawing with a regular, black outline (both in shape and color!). Ready? Let's start this tutorial now! :)
For this entire lesson, I will use a brush that creates line that are thinner on both ends. As far as coloring the outline, it will be done in the last step of the tutorial. First, draw the head and the ears of your character.
Then, add details inside the head like the eyes, the nose and the mouth. Use a regular line for closed shapes (like the eyes).
Continue working on the head by sketching the pupils, the teeth and the eyebrows.
Now that the head is done, apply some hair on your character. Since the character will be a little overweight, draw a large chin below the head.
Now it's time to draw the body. Remember to draw the body below the chin.
Draw the legs and the feet of your cartoon man!
Finish the sketching part by drawing a nice tie and by applying a line to separate the two legs from each other.
Now it's time to color your character. Since you don't have any solid shape, but only lines (except maybe for the top of the tie and the eyes), add some shapes filled with colors below the outline to get the desired effect. Don't apply any additional outlines for those shapes.
Finally, add some colors on your outline to complete the drawing! If your outline is drawn around the head, use a darker tone of skin color to fill it. Repeat the same process for each part of the character. That's it! You are done! Enjoy!
