How to draw cartoon eggs

This tutorial will help you draw cartoon eggs that will look nice and realistic! Drawing an egg isn't too difficult to do. Just sketch an oval shape and make sure that the bottom is a little wider than the top.
So this tutorial won't be about drawing an egg. Well, it will be about eggs, but the one that are cooked and ready to served!

First, draw the yellow part by sketching a simple oval shape. Don't make it too big. We need space to draw the rest of the egg.

Then, add a rectangle to create the white part of the egg. Notice that the yellow part is not centered in the rectangle. I did this on purpose, otherwise our egg might look too polished and therefore, quite unrealistic!

Now work on the outline of the white part of our egg. It should look like a splash of paint of a wall. But notice that the top and the bottom part are almost straight. Only the sides are spilled on the plate.

When you are finished spilling and splashing your egg, add a small circle inside the center of it. You can also add a curve on the left part of the yellow area. This space will be filled with a darker color later on to simulate a shadow.

Finally, you can also add some lines and shapes on the white part of your egg to illustrate shadows.

To make the whole thing look realistic and delicious, add some colors like shown above! If you followed all steps carefully, you should now have a nice and appetizing egg! Hope you had fun and good luck!
