How to draw a cartoon coffee cup

This tutorial will help you draw a simple cartoon coffee cup! Drawing a simple coffee cup using a rectangle and a circle can be accomplished by anyone!
But sketching one with a slight perspective can become more tricky! A simple drawing can easily be missed if you draw only one line inaccurately. So let's try to sketch a simple coffee cup without making any mistakes even if this artwork is clean and simple!
Start your artwork by drawing a rectangle and a circle. DOn't make the circle too big otherwise your cup might fall on the side!
Draw a second circle inside the first one. Make sure to sketch it far enough form the first circle so that your handle won't look too thin.
Next, refine the outline of your cup. Include the handle with the body of your object. Also, make sure that the top and the bottom of your cup is curved like shown in the image above.
The inside of your cup is represented by an oval shape. Notice that both end of this new shape are pointed and narrow.
To make your cup look more realistic, you can add shadows on the body and around the oval you drawn in the previous step.
Now just add a color inside the cup (brown if you wish to represent coffee) and add a little bit of grey in the shapes you draw on the previous step. And there you go! A nice and well-drawn coffee cup! Have fun and keep practicing!
