How to draw a cartoon cake

This tutorial will help you draw a simple cartoon cake! A nice and enjoyable birthday party wouldn't be complete without a cake. Learning to draw a simple cake isn't too difficult!
But in this lesson, I will show you how to draw a three stages birthday cake. It might seem a little tough to draw at first, but if you follow carefully all my tips and study all images below, you should be able to make it!
First, draw two oval shapes. Make sure that they are close enough from each other, but not touching each other. If you are able to draw each shape identically (or the closest possible), that would be nice too!
Now the crucial part! Adding all two stages remaining on top of the cake! The trick is simple! Do the same thing you did in step one! But this time the bottom shape of each pair of ovals should be sitting on top of the pair of shapes below. If you are not quite sure how to do this, skip this step and go directly to the next one! It might help you to see the result!
Now join all oval shapes together to create the body of our cake!
A good and tasty cake really needs some icing! Try to cover the entire oval shape sitting under the icing to make sure that this one really stands out!
This step requires two sets of lines. One to cut each stage in half. The other one to replace the oval shape that has been covered with icing. Since each step needs these two sets of lines, you need to draw six of them!
Of course, you don't want to forget the candles! Simply draw a small rectangle with a tiny flame to represent each candle.
Finally, add some colors to make the icing visually more appealing! And there you go! A simple cake drawn with love and taste! I hope you had a blast following this lesson and happy birthday to you!
