Using A Caricature Software

With all the technology available these days, it can be tempting to try to find a caricature software that could do the job for you! But are they really reliable? Can they really make a nice caricature of your subject without being too cold or irrelevant?

For the example, the software named "cartoonist" can take the picture of your choice and turn it into a funny caricature. It is basically using some filters (like the ones you can find in any image editing software) to help you distort your image and make your subject look more... weird.

Is it efficient? Well, yes and no. The result is very often funny, but doesn't really capture the essence of the subject. You can play with it for hours and still have lots of fun. But you won't turn yourself into a professional caricaturist with it.

Other software like "intocartoon" will help you turn photography into cartoons. Once again, it might be fun for a while but you won't be able to make a very interesting caricature with it.

Quite frankly, I didn't really find any software that could be useful for creating caricatures (or even cartoons) with my images or photography.

So yes, as far as I'm concerned, you might want to continue practice and practice until you have enough talent to draw on your own. These software might help you create interesting images.

But they will never have what it takes to grab the personality and the physical attributes of your subject and turn it into a memorable caricature.
