From a Batman cartoon to a Batman movie!

Bringing comic books to the big screen is a very interesting trend for any cartoon lover!
The Batman cartoon was probably one of the first to be adapted for the big screen in 1989.
The movie was directed by Tim Burton and Jack Nicholson was the actor who played the Joker.
Back then, the public and the critics did agreed on one thing: Nicholson was the Joker and the Joker was Nicholson.
No one could ever portrayed the Joker like Nicholson did. They were bond together forever!
Almost 20 years later, Heath Ledger is doing the same in the latest adaptation of Batman, "The Dark Knight". His performance is absolutely phenomenal!
In this movie, the Joker is really the most evil, unpredictable and frightening villain any superhero movies has ever seen. And with an ending that give the spectator some hopes to see the Joker come back in another sequel, the death of Ledger is really a lost that might hurt the new Batman franchise.
Don't get me wrong! Christopher Nolan is really a very talented director. No doubt he can make another Batman movie that will be as good as "The Dark Knight"!
But on the other end, "The Dark Knight" could not exist without the madness and the twisted creativity of it's finest villain, the Joker, and from the one behind this evil character, Heath Ledger!
No doubt that in the future, we will have a chance to see other superhero movies that will be as entertaining as "The Dark Knight"! And no doubt that other actors will take the lead and offer some unforgettable interpretations!
But I truly believe that this movie will be as good in 40 years that it is now.
I really thought a few years ago that the superhero movies's trend was over. Hopefully, if they can match up "The Dark Knight" in quality, this trend will last for another good 10 years or more!
