Step 1

First, we need to draw the body and head of the bat using a long rectangle. On top of this shape, you can also add two pointed triangles to illustrate the ears of this cartoon bat. If you are using a vector application to create this character, don't hesitate to draw a thick outline. The result will be more enjoyable!

Step 2

Next, it's time to draw the wings of the character using mostly curved lines and pointed triangles. Both wings must be located near the bottom of the body. Finally, you can complete this step with the addition of the feet made from oval shapes. The bottom of these shapes must be flat while the top is done using small curved lines.

Step 3

Inside the head and body, draw two large circular shapes to represent the eyes. As you can see below, these circles are incomplete on both sides of the head. Inside the eyes, you can draw pupils using small circles. The mouth is done using a long pointed line and both teeth are made from triangles.

Simply add colors and this tutorial is over! The body and the wings are filled with a bright grey color while the pupils are simply colored in red. The eyes and the teeth are filled with a white color and the feet are slightly darker compared to the rest of the body.
