Creating your own custom video is not as difficult as it might seem. Below, you will find a short description of the whole process. You will see that starting a project here can be fun, quick and very affordable!
Getting started!
First, you need to fill in the form available on this page. Once you are finished, I will review your submission and contact you to start the project. When both parties are ready to proceed, the first payment will be made (50%).
The creation process!
It's now time to draw! Sketching is the most important part of the creation process. It's time to experiment and choose the style you like the most! Sketches are created and sent for approval until you are 100% satisfied.
From sketches to animation!
Once the final sketches are approved, I will create the animation with colors. When you are 100% satisfied with the animated version, the second payment will be made (50%). Final files are sent through your email address. The project is now close.
Getting your own professional custom comic strip is not as expensive as you might think! Most artists on the net will charge over $2000 CAD (sometimes even more!) for a simple 30 seconds animation! Even worse, others will charge $500 CAD or more for videos with limited royalty-free license usage!
Here are the prices to get your own custom 2D animation:

"Amelia" is a 2D animated film created especially for the web. My goal was to create a fun adventure film featuring cute cartoon characters and a simple, but amusing scenario. In this movie, Amelia must fight an evil tooth fairy who replaced the good fairy in her quest to create the greatest castle of all time.

Since I work at home, the creative process is usually very quick! I can answer to all request within a few hours only (sometimes, almost immediately!) and creating a custom 2D animation can be done within a few weeks. Of course, this is just an estimate. Some projects are larger or do require more time to accomplish.
One thing is sure: I will do everything to make this experience as fun as possible. Email support is very important and critical if I want to deliver the best movie that I can. Support is also available after the conclusion of the project to work on minor changes like switching colors or modifying the width of the outlines for example. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!

Do you create anything else besides 2D animation?
Yes. I now offer my services to create custom comic strip as well as custom cartoon characters. If you have something else in mind, you can always submit it. Maybe it is something that I can do, but just forgot to offer.
Do you create animated logos?
Unfortunately, no. I only create short 2D animation projects involving characters moving around in a 2D environment. I don't create animated logos, moving text or anything else similar.
What is the length of the animation that I can submit?
Your video should be 15 seconds long (minimum) and up to 60 seconds long (maximum). Animations below 15 seconds are accepted, but the price will be the same as 15 seconds animation.
What video format do you offer?
All scenes are created and animated in Anime Studio pro 8. With Anime Studio, you can render your movie in AVI and Quick Time. Files are delivered in Anime Studio Document. You must own Anime Studio 8 Debut or pro if you want files to be delivered through your email address.
If you prefer to have the animation delivered to you in AVI or Quick Time format, one or several DVDs will be shipped to you once the project is finished. Shipping is included in the price for the first set of DVDs ($15 CAD maximum). If you need modifications in your animation once the project is delivered, you must pay for additional DVDs.
Can you provide HD movies?
Yes. Your animation can be in HD or you can choose a custom format. You can also choose the frame rate if you wish.
Can you provide the sounds and voices?
No. You must provide all sounds and voices associated with your project. Other companies on the internet are providing great voice talent services or royalty-free sounds and music.
Can you provide the editing?
No. You must edit the movie yourself. Once again, you can find several affordable video editing software on the internet that can render nice high-definition animations.
Do you work with text?
I don't own any fonts, so fonts that are used are the basic ones like Arial, Impact or Times New Roman. I use fonts for basic signs in the background or similar usage.
Do you handle large projects?
It depends. I usually prefer to create a small animation for a customer rather than working on a single project involving lots of animation. I want to make sure that everyone can enjoy my services. If you have a project that requires more than 60 seconds of animation, you can still submit it. However, I can't promise that I will be able to work on it.
What is the license for custom animation?
There is no restrictions for animations created through my services. When all payments are completed, you are the only owner of these videos and you do own all copyrights associated with them. A release with all the information you need will be delivered to you once the final payment is made.
However, please note that sketches that were sent to the client, but not approved by the client are still the property of How-to-draw-funny-cartoons.com (for example, if you receive three sketches and decide to move on with only one of them, then the other two sketches are still my property).
How to do proceed with payments?
All payments are made through Paypal (in CAD dollars). A first payment of half the total amount of the contract is required to start the creative process. Once the final design is approved and the movie is created, the other half of the payment should be made before all videos are delivered through your e-mail address.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds can only be made during the creative process. An administration fee of $90 CAD (per new animation) will be deducted from the refund. This fee is covering the time spent on the creative process. Once the client has giving is approval for the creation of the final animation, refunds are not possible. If you ask for a refund, all animations and/or images created and delivered through your e-mail address remain the property of How-to-draw-funny-cartoons.com
All refunds are made through Paypal only. Paypal may take a transaction fee when money is transferred to your account. These transaction fees are not included in the refund, but are deducted from it.
Can a project be canceled?
Yes, I reserve the right to cancel a project at any time if I feel during the process that I might not be able to deliver the animation or move on with this project (for whatever reasons). A full refund (100%) will be delivered to the client for the amount already paid at that point. If you, as a client, wish to cancel a project, just read the refund policy above to see the conditions.
